My wife Jane and I, both from the Philippines, have been with the VESCC for over 20 years. Since 2004 I have been involved in various activities of the Community--as auditor, extraordinary minister of Communion, in publication of the VESCC booklet "How to Pray the Rosary: A Book by Children for Children." I am now serving as a communion minister and as Chairman of Finance, whose main responsibility is to make sure that the funds given generously by members and churchgoers go where they should, and that the VESCC is able to make ends meet. It has been a privilege to work with the past and present pastors and the many volunteers of the Community. Before I retired, I was working as a Unit Head with responsibility for the computer network of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). Prior to this, I was a professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
